Entering the market in May 2009, Karakampa Caravans have already gained a reputation for building a lightweight (approximately 1300 kg) European styled caravan with sleek fibreglass exterior and ultra modern interior. Karakampa features smooth fibreglass moulded furniture, soft touch headlining, 2.5 ml thick high quality vinyl flooring and other features such as large shower and toilet, double island bed (or two single beds) and air conditioning. This makes Karakampa the ideal caravan for two people to travel in complete comfort and style.

Karakampa features the use of lightweight composite mouldings all bonded together with flexible polyurathane adhesives as used in the marine and transport industries. Due to the width and ground clearance our caravans are not suitable for true off road use, but are most suitable for corrugations and dirt roads. Karakampa chassis are fully galvanized and have AL-KO independent rubber suspension, 6 stud landcruiser 14" wheels, heavy duty jockey wheel and 10 inch electric brakes.

The light weight and aerodynamic body of Karakampa means that it is easily towed by any vehicle rated to tow approximately 1650 kg and a ball weight of aproximately 120 kg.
